          Carnival Cruise Line’s comprehensive web site, carnival.com, was named a Hitwise Top 10 Award winner for the second quarter 2008.  Hitwise is a leading Internet tracking firm which monitors Web traffic in more than 160 different industry categories.  

            Carnival’s Web site has undergone significant upgrades recently that added several new tools and features, including on-line shore excursion videos, guest video testimonials, and a link to CarnivalConnections.com, the line’s social networking community and group planning web site. 

            CarnivalConnections.com is also home to the popular blog of Carnival Splendor Senior Cruise Director John Heald which has garnered 2.6 million hits since being launched in March 2007.
