Carnival Cruise Lines’ Vice President of Revenue Management Brenda Yester has been appointed to chair the board of directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that helps fulfill the dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Yester, a 10-year Carnival veteran who has served as a volunteer wish granter and board officer/member since 2003, recently chaired the committee responsible for writing the nonprofit organization’s long-term strategic plan. In her new position as board chair, she will help lead the nonprofit organization as it seeks to grant the wish of every medically-eligible child in its 13-county Florida territory.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida has granted more than 7,000 local wishes since its inception in 1983.
