Carnival Cruise Lines and the Port of New Orleans hosted a reception to commemorate the start up of service of the Carnival Triumph, which launched a year-round schedule of four-, five- and seven-day Caribbean cruises earlier this month. The 2,758-passenger vessel is the largest cruise ship currently based at the port year-round. Carnival Triumph replaced the Carnival Fantasy in New Orleans, representing a 34 percent capacity increase from that port. Read the full story
