Reception Aboard Carnival Fantasy Commemorates Ship's New Mobile-Based Program

Carnival Cruise Lines and the Port of Mobile held a reception aboard the 70,000-ton Carnival Fantasy this weekend to commemorate the ship’s new four-, five- and seven-day cruise schedule from Mobile. 

The 2,056-passenger Carnival Fantasy represents a capacity increase of 42 percent over the Holiday which inaugurated service from Mobile in 2004.  

The shipboard festivities included a traditional maritime plaque exchange between Carnival and city and port officials.

In the photo at right, Costi (left) is presented with an etched, illuminated plaque of the Carnival Fantasy from the Port of Mobile’s Operations Manager Sheila Gurganus.
