Social Media Event Highlights Exciting New Innovations on #CarnivalFreedom

Carnival Cruise Lines is hosting a social media event showcasing the many new and exciting innovations added to the Carnival Freedom during its recent dry dock.

The five-day #CarnivalFreedom event kicked off on Monday and utilizes all of the line’s social media platforms – the @CarnivalCruise Twitter and Instagram accounts and engaging Facebook fan page – to highlight the ship’s Fun Ship 2.0 bar, dining and entertainment options and unique family-friendly choices such as Dr. Seuss Bookville and Camp Ocean.  Carnival’s social media followers are also encouraged to leave comments indicating which new features they’d like to see highlighted.

Carnival fans can check out images of the newly installed Guy’s Burger Joint developed in tandem with Food Network star Guy Fieri, as well as popular bar choices like the cocktail-themed Alchemy Bar, Caribbean-inspired RedFrog Pub and the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, among others.

#CarnivalFreedom also spotlights the first-ever Dr. Seuss Bookville reading venue, part of the line’s exclusive partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises that includes fun activities like the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast with the Cat in the Hat and Friends, Seuss-a-palooza Story Time, and the Seuss-a-palooza Character Parade.  Fans can also get a first look at Camp Ocean, a marine-themed children’s program geared toward two- to 11-year-olds and featuring more than 200 ocean-inspired activities.
