When guests debarked the Carnival Magic earlier this week in Montego Bay, Jamaica, they were welcomed with a special greeting from local residents that celebrated the fun, relaxed ambiance of one of the cruise industry’s most popular destinations.

From a traditional steel drum band and stilt-walkers creating fun balloon animals to photo opps with the city’s official parrot mascot, Carnival Magic guests got into the true spirit of “Mo Bay” before heading out to enjoy all this scenic port of call has to offer.

Montego Bay is a featured port on the Carnival Magic’s seven-day western Caribbean cruises from Galveston, Texas.  Next year, the ship is scheduled to make 10 calls in Montego Bay, bringing more than 40,000 visitors to the destination.
