To mark the Carnival Sensation’s inaugural visit to Amber Cove Cruise Center -- the Caribbean’s newest destination located on the Dominican Republic’s North Coast -- a special ceremony was held on board with the ship’s officers and representatives from the $65 million facility which is operated by Carnival Corporation.
Carnival Sensation visited Amber Cove as part of its new year-round four- and five-day schedule from Miami. During the visit to Amber Cove, Carnival Sensation guests had a chance to check out Amber Cove’s wide range of food, beverage and retail offerings as well as a stunning array of exciting shore excursions that showcase this unique cruising region.
Amber Cove is a featured destination on several Carnival Cruise Line ships as well as several sister companies under the Carnival Corporation umbrella.
