The Carnival Fascination underwent an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation that included the addition of a Carnival WaterWorks aqua park, Serenity adults-only retreat, a redesigned tropical-themed main pool and 98 new balconies to ocean view staterooms. Carnival Fascination features a variety of dramatic public spaces designed by the line’s award-winning interior architect Joe Farcus. These areas range in style from the Palace Lounge, a 1,300-seat multi-deck theatre showcasing Carnival’s legendary lavish revues; and the Tara Library, a distinctly Southern room whose décor is patterned after the famous mansion in Gone with the Wind. 

Other venues include Bogart’s Café, inspired by the classic film Casablanca; the Passage to India Lounge, whose entrance is flanked by two lifelike elephants; and Diamonds Are Forever, a sizzling dance club, which, like the name implies, features a stunning interior with diamonds as its central design theme.

Dining is considered a highlight of a “Fun Ship” cruise and the Carnival Fascination offers a wide variety of delectable formal and casual choices to suit any taste. In addition to the full-service Imagination and Sensation formal restaurants the Carnival Fascination includes the Coconut Grove Grille, a casual poolside eatery offering full breakfast and lunch buffets, a 24-hour pizzeria and a “Seaview Bistro” alternative dinnertime service. Also featured is a nine-hole miniature golf course, along with three swimming pools, including a children’s wading pool and a main pool offering a 115-foot-long water slide.
