As part of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association’s annual holiday toy drive – which provides gifts to underprivileged children throughout the Caribbean – the Carnival Glory presented 100 children in Cozumel with brand new bicycles. 

With the help of the mayor of Cozumel and his wife – and Santa Claus, of course – the Carnival Glory team brought some holiday cheer to these special children. 

The toy drive is just one of many charitable endeavors organized by the Carnival Glory and other ships throughout the fleet.

 

This past Saturday, nearly two dozen members of Carnival’s volunteer service group, the “Friends Uniting Neighbors (F.U.N.) Team,” along with their friends and family members, participated in a beach clean up activity at Key Biscayne in Miami-Dade County, Fla.

Armed with work gloves, trash bags and a tremendous sense of determination, the group spent the better part of the morning helping to beautify the area, which is a popular spot for boating, swimming and fishing.

Co-sponsored by Hands On Miami, a local community service organization, the beach clean up was just several dozen volunteer projects organized by the “Fun Team” each year.
