style="text-align: justify;">MIAMI – Carnival Cruise Lines operates year-round four- and five-day Caribbean cruises from Galveston.

On this route, four-day cruises depart Thursdays to Cozumel, while five-day voyages depart Mondays and Saturdays and visit Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.

PUBLIC ROOMS AND AREAS
Carnival Triumph features a variety of dramatic public spaces inspired by famous cities throughout the world. Designed by Carnival’s award-winning interior architect Joe Farcus, rooms include the Big Easy piano bar, an appropriately named venue for a New Orleans-based ship that features walls composed of oyster shells from the city’s famed Acme Oyster House.

Other rooms include Venezia, a live music venue inspired by the renowned Italian city with colorful arches, ornate columns and other design features; the Washington Library, a snapshot of American history with portraits of presidents and a mural of the capital city; and Club Rio, the ship’s aft lounge, evocative of Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro.

In keeping with the international theme, Carnival Triumph also features the Oxford Bar offering the comfortable ambiance of a traditional old English library lined with paintings of British aristocrats; and the tasteful California Wine Bar which features specially commissioned art stemware in its display cases.

DINING OPTIONS
Carnival Triumph offers a wide variety of delectable formal and casual choices to suit any taste, including the full-service Paris and London formal restaurants featuring extensive menus and wine lists, the Carnival Triumph houses the South Beach Club, a casual poolside eatery offering full breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, a New York-style deli, and 24-hour pizza and ice cream/frozen yogurt.

Vegetarian and health-conscious menu selections are also featured on all dining room menus. Other dining options include the Vienna Café, offering specialty coffees and sweets, and complimentary 24-hour stateroom service.

ON-BOARD PROGRAMS
‘CAMP CARNIVAL,’ ‘CIRCLE C,’ ‘CLUB O2’ – Building upon Carnival’s distinction as the family cruise leader carrying 670,000 children annually fleetwide, Carnival Triumph offers organized programs for three different age groups – “Camp Carnival” for younger kids, “Circle C” for 12- to 14-year-olds, and “Club O2” for older teens – with supervised activities and expansive, modern facilities for each. Carnival Triumph also houses four swimming pools, including a children’s wading pool and an aft pool offering a 214-foot-long corkscrew water slide. Stroller rental and babysitting services are also available.

CARNIVAL’S SEASIDE THEATRE- Carnival Triumph also features the line’s popular “Carnival Seaside Theatre,” a massive 270-square-foot LED screen on Lido Deck displaying movies, concerts, sporting events, and other programming, including a “Morning Show” hosted by the ship’s cruise director. Utilizing the same technology featured in large stadiums and New York’s Times Square, the state-of-the-art entertainment system includes a 70,000-watt sound system, providing concert quality sound, even outdoors.

‘SPA CARNIVAL’ HEALTH AND FITNESS FACILITY – Fitness has become an important part of everyday life and guests sailing on Carnival Triumph can take advantage of the ship’s 15,000-square-foot “Spa Carnival” facility, which features a wide variety of sophisticated exercise equipment, an expansive gymnasium, and an array of soothing body and facial treatments, including exotic “European-style” therapies. A full salon offering a wide range of hair, nail and make-up services is available, as well.

SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS - As part of Carnival’s fleetwide stateroom enhancements, all of the Carnival Triumph’s 1,379 staterooms feature the new “Carnival Comfort Bed” sleep system, featuring plush mattresses, luxurious duvets and duvet covers, fluffy pillows and high quality sheets and linens. All accommodations include terrycloth bathrobes and offer in-cabin amenity kits with a variety of brand-name product samples for men and women. Sixty percent of the Carnival Triumph’s staterooms offer an ocean view with 60 percent of those featuring private balconies.

INTERNET CAFÉ, WI-FI ACCESS, CELL PHONE SERVICE – Like all “Fun Ships,” Carnival Triumph offers an Internet café with private workstations featuring flat-screen monitors, along with Wi-Fi access available in virtually all public rooms and areas. Guests can also make and receive cell phone calls whether the ship is at sea or in port.

MIAMI – Carnival Cruise Lines – which operates the only year-round cruise program from New Orleans – will increase capacity by 34 percent when the Carnival Triumph replaces the Carnival Fantasy from the Big Easy in November 2009.

The Carnival Triumph will offer a new seven-day option complementing the line’s popular four- and five-day cruises. On this route four-day cruises will depart Thursdays and call at Cozumel, while the five-day schedule will depart on Mondays and Saturdays and call at Progreso and Cozumel. Seven-day cruises will depart on Saturdays, with exotic western Caribbean voyages visiting Belize City, Isla Roatan (Honduras); and Cozumel; and eastern Caribbean cruises calling at Key West, Freeport and Nassau.

Prior to its deployment to New Orleans, Carnival Cruise Lines’ 102,000-ton Carnival Triumph will offer four- and five-day Atlantic Canada voyages from June to September, followed by a series of five week-long fall foliage cruises.

Four-day cruises departing Thursdays feature a call at Saint John, New Brunswick and scenic cruising in the Bay of Fundy, while five-day cruises departing on Mondays and Saturdays include stops at Saint John and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Week-long fall foliage itineraries start Sept. 12 and run through October 10, 2009, with voyages departing on Saturdays from New York and visiting Boston, Portland (Maine), Saint John and Halifax.

‘CAMP CARNIVAL,’ ‘CIRCLE C,’ ‘CLUB O2’ – Building upon Carnival’s distinction as the family cruise leader carrying 625,000 children annually fleetwide, Carnival Triumph offers organized programs for three different age groups – “Camp Carnival” for younger kids, “Circle C” for 12- to 14-year-olds, and “Club O2” for older teens – with supervised activities and expansive, modern facilities for each.

<p
