CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES’ ‘EVOLUTIONS OF FUN’ FEATURES HIGHLIGHTED AT LINE’S CRUISE3SIXTY TRADE SHOW BOOTH

MIAMI (March 3, 2008) – Travel agents seeking a respite from the hustle and bustle of the upcoming cruise3sixty trade show can “take five” at Carnival Cruise Lines’ booth, which will feature an authentic reproduction of  the line’s new “Serenity” adults-only retreat, part of the new “Evolutions of Fun” product enhancement initiative.

Cruise3sixty runs from March 7-9, 2008, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  Carnival’s booth will be located at Pavilion A in Hall C/D.

In addition to the custom-designed “Serenity” installation, Carnival’s booth will be adorned with poster-sized images from the line’s recently launched branding campaign with the central theme of “Let the fun begin.”

Also included are iconic visuals of “Evolutions of Fun” features such as the Carnival WaterWorks aqua park.  Musical accompaniment in the form of the hit Queen song “You’re My Best Friend” – currently featured in the line’s new TV commercials – will be continuously playing in the background.

“‘Evolutions of Fun’ has been very well received by our guests and the realistic ‘Serenity’ installation at cruise3sixty provides travel agents with an interesting and memorable way to experience this new ‘Fun Ship’ feature for themselves,” said Lynn C. Torrent, Carnival’s senior vice president of sales and guest services.

The “Serenity” retreat was created especially for cruise3sixty and includes genuine teak flooring, chaise lounges from the Carnival fleet, and dramatic visuals of soothing ocean views designed to evoke the feeling of relaxing in the popular adults-only area.

Additionally, the booth will be staffed by Carnival “brand ambassadors,” as well as members of the sales team, who will be on hand to greet travel agents and answer any questions they have regarding the “Fun Ship” vacation experience.

Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages – served in Carnival’s popular hurricane glasses used on board – will also be available. Travel agents can also receive a complimentary photo taken in the mock “Serenity” area at the show.  A number of free Carnival logo items and giveaways will be provided, as well.

Carnival’s $250 million "Evolutions of Fun" initiative -- the cruise industry’s most ambitious ship refurbishment program -- encompasses a wide range of upgrades and amenities for the line’s eight Fantasy-class ships. In addition to a complete renovation of the upper decks with Serenity, Carnival WaterWorks and redesigned pools, the program includes upgraded staterooms and spas, nine-hole miniature golf courses, atrium lobby bars and more.

Carnival is the largest and most popular cruise line in the world, with 22 "Fun Ships" operating voyages ranging from three to 18 days in length to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, New England, Canada, Bermuda, Europe, the Greek Isles and South America. The line has three new ships scheduled for delivery between now and 2011.

Currently, the Carnival Imagination and Carnival Inspiration have undergone all phases of the program, with the Carnival Fantasy scheduled to undergo the full “Evolutions of Fun” upgrades this fall.
