                   Carnival Cruise Line’s comprehensive web site, carnival.com, was named a Hitwise Top 10 Award winner for the second quarter 2008.  Hitwise is a leading Internet tracking firm which monitors Web traffic in more than 160 different industry categories.

  The 2,974-passenger Carnival Glory and 2,124-passenger Carnival Miracle each earned perfect 100 scores on their most recent inspections conducted by the U.S. Public Health Service (U.S.P.H.).  Carnival Glory has achieved perfect 100 scores four times since its debut in 2003; this marks the second time in two years that Carnival Miracle has earned a perfect score.

CARNIVAL TO EXPAND POPULAR ‘SEASIDE THEATRE’ CONCEPT TO FIVE ADDITIONAL ‘FUN SHIPS’             MIAMI (July 16, 2008) – “Carnival’s Seaside Theatres” — jumbo-sized LED screens currently featured poolside on five Carnival “Fun Ships,” including the new 113,300-ton Carnival Splendor which debuted earlier this month – will be expanded to an additional five vessels over the next year.

Making a Difference

    This past Saturday, nearly two dozen members of Carnival’s volunteer service group, the “Friends Uniting Neighbors (F.U.N.) Team,” along with their friends and family members, participated in a beach clean up activity at Key Biscayne in Miami-Dade County, Fla.

The video footage showcases the one-of-a-kind event held earlier today in Dover, England, and presided over by Myleene Klass, a chart-topping musician, singer and television personality in the UK who served as the ship’s godmother.
