Carnival Takes Home “Best Value” Honors in 2008 Cruise Critic Editors’ Pick Awards

            Carnival Cruise Lines was named “Best Value,” in Cruise Critic’s 2008 Editor’s Pick Awards, which honor the world’s top cruise lines for outstanding performance in 10 major areas.

            The winners are chosen by the editors at Cruise Critic, an online consumer cruise website that attracts more than five million visitors a year, and provides a variety of information including ship reviews and the latest news in the cruise industry.

            Carnival, which sails from 19 different North American homeports, was recognized for providing guests with memorable, high quality vacations at affordable prices.  Its “Fun Ship” fleet offers guests a variety of on-board facilities and features – a diversity of full-service and casual dining options, expansive spa and children’s facilities, spacious accommodations, and fun-filled activities for guests of all ages. 

            The line also received awards for “Best Shore Excursions” and “Best Main Restaurant” for its Conquest-class ships.
