Record-Breaking Recognition

  Two recent world records set by Carnival Cruise Lines — one for the world’s largest beach ball and another for the world’s largest piñata — which occurred during “Fun Crowd” events in Dallas and Philadelphia in recent weeks — are now featured on the Guinness Book of World Records’ official web site.

Carnival ‘Gives Fun Back’ in New Orleans

As part of Carnival Cruise Lines’ “Give Fun Back” radio promotion – which awarded deserving New Orleans residents with free “Fun Ship” cruises – Larenzo Carter, a detective for the New Orleans Police Department, was the guest of honor aboard the Carnival Fantasy, which operates four- and five-day cruises from New Orleans.

Carnival Cruise Lines to Increase Capacity on 2010 New York Departures

             Carnival Cruise Lines will increase capacity on its seasonal cruise program from New York in 2010 with the 2,978-passenger Carnival Glory scheduled to operate a variety of four and five-day Atlantic Canada voyages from June to September, followed by a series of five week-long fall foliage cruises.

CARNIVAL SPLENDOR ARRIVES AT FORT LAUDERDALE FRIDAY, NOV. 14  Newest and Largest ‘Fun Ship’ to Operate Schedule of Caribbean Cruises from Port Everglades Through January 2009              MIAMI (November 14, 2008) – Carnival Cruise Lines’ 113,300-ton Carnival Splendor – the line’s newest and largest “Fun Ship” – made its U.S. debut Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, when it arrived at Port Everglades this morning following a 16-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Europe.
