CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES’ WEB SITE RANKS FIRST IN KEYNOTE SYSTEMS’ STUDY OF ON-LINE CONSUMER TRAVEL SITES              MIAMI (July 28, 2009) – Already the most visited cruise industry site on the Web, Carnival Cruise Lines’ carnival.com, continues to earn accolades, placing first in overall customer experience in a recent study commissioned by Keynote® Systems (http://www.keynote.com/), the global leader in on-demand test & measurement solutions for continuously improving the online experience.             In the annual study, eight major cruise lines and select on-line travel agency Web sites were evaluated by a panel of more than 2,400 consumers, 50 percent of whom are experienced cruisers.

Carnival Freedom Makes Unexpected Appearance on NBC’s ‘Today’ Show

Popular NBC “Today” Show weather anchor Al Roker delivers the nation’s forecast from Key West, Fla., while the Carnival Freedom arrives behind him. During the broadcast, Roker pointed out the ship and its itinerary. Key West is one of four chosen destinations for this week’s “’Today’ Takes a Vacation series. Roker and Matt Lauer are to broadcast from the Conch Republic Tuesday.

Dana Gain, Carnival Cruise Lines’ business development director for Western Ontario, recently became the first employee in the cruise industry to earn an Elite Cruise Counsellor Scholar (ECCS) designation from the Cruise Lines International Association, the marketing and travel agent training arm for the North American cruise industry.

CARNIVAL’S NEW ‘BEHIND THE FUN’ TOURS OFFER UNIQUE INSIGHT INTO LINE’S SHIPBOARD OPERATIONS              MIAMI (July 23, 2009) – For those who want to get an insider’s look at the inner-workings of a Carnival “Fun Ship,” the line has created Behind the Fun, a guided tour that provides guests with a unique insight into the company’s shipboard operations.             Currently available on the Carnival Valor and Carnival Conquest, the program will be rolled out to all 12 of the line’s ships operating voyages of seven days or longer by the end of September.
