Carnival Cruise Lines and AAA Carolinas teamed up to promote the line’s new year-round cruise program from Charleston during the Cooper River Bridge Run, which took place this past weekend. The new service – the first year-round cruise program from Charleston – begins in May aboard the 2,056-passenger Carnival Fantasy.

In conjunction with AAA Carolinas, the line maintained a booth during the Bridge Run Expo at the Galliard Auditorium on Thursday and Friday, and also at the Finish Festival in Marion Square on Saturday, providing information on the Carnival Fantasy’s Bahamas/Key West cruises to thousands of participants and spectators.

The 2,056-passenger Carnival Fantasy will operate five-, six- and seven-day voyages from Charleston to the Bahamas and Key West, Fla., beginning May 18, departing from the city’s historic Passenger Terminal.
