In recognition of National Volunteer Week, Carnival Cruise Lines employees prepared more than 200 meals for residents of Camillus House, a homeless assistance center in downtown Miami.

The brown bag lunches were prepared by members of Carnival’s employee volunteer service group, the “Fun Team,” which also coordinates regular visits to Camillus House to distribute meals to South Florida’s homeless population.

The “Fun Team” coordinates weekly volunteer activities in partnership with a wide variety of charitable organizations and social service agencies throughout South Florida.  In the past year alone, the group held more than 100 different community service activities totaling more than 4,000 volunteer hours.
