CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES ADDS NEW SEVEN-DAY EASTERN CARIBBEAN OPTIONS FROM JACKSONVILLE AND TAMPA Carnival Cruise Lines will introduce new seven-day eastern Caribbean cruise itineraries from Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla., in 2011.  The cruises will be offered on the Carnival Legend from Tampa and Carnival Fascination from Jacksonville both of which are currently based at those ports but have never before offered these itineraries.

NEW 130,000-TON CARNIVAL MAGIC TO OPERATE SEVEN-DAY CARIBBEAN CRUISES FROM GALVESTON BEGINNING  NOVEMBER 2011, TO BE PORT’S LARGEST YEAR-ROUND SHIP Carnival Conquest, Carnival Ecstasy to Sail Year -Round From New Orleans, Returning the Line’s Capacity to Pre-Katrina Levels Carnival Cruise Lines’ newest ship, the 3,690-passenger Carnival Magic, will operate seven-day Caribbean cruises from Galveston beginning Nov. 14, 2011, becoming the largest cruise ship based at the port year-round.  Additionally, the 2,758-passenger Carnival Triumph will reposition from New Orleans to Galveston to operate year-round four- and five-day Caribbean cruises from that port beginning Oct. 6, 2011.

Carnival Glory Earns Perfect 100 Score on Health Canada Inspection

  Carnival Cruise Lines’ 110,000-ton Carnival Glory, which operates the line’s seasonal Canada Atlantic program from New York, has earned a perfect 100 score on its most recent Health Canada inspection which took place in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The 2,974-passenger vessel received perfect marks on all items that comprise the agency’s comprehensive vessel sanitation program checklist.

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES PROVIDES CASH BACK OF UP TO $160 PER STATEROOM ON WIDE VARIETY OF ‘FUN SHIP’ DEPARTURES THROUGH FEBRUARY 2011 Back by popular demand, Carnival Cruise Lines is offering a promotion providing “cash back” of up to $160 per stateroom for a wide range of “Fun Ship” departures through February 2011. The promotion is available in conjunction with virtually all of the line’s three- to eight-day “Fun Ship” cruises, including voyages to the Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico, departing from a variety of convenient North American homeports.  Bookings must be made between June 7–30, 2010, to be eligible for the cash back promotion.
