The Carnival Spirit has some special guests sailing on its last Alaska voyage of the season. Bloggers Alex and Luke from popular travel blog and website alexandluke.com are on their way to Juneau, the first stop on Carnival’s seven-day Glacier Bay itinerary.
Alex and Luke’s Carnival Spirit cruise is part of an adventure which began on March 20, with the goal of traveling through every state, province and territory in Canada and the U.S. Readers are determining every aspect of Alex and Luke’s trip, submitting their suggestions via their website, as well as Twitter and Facebook.
Their road trip has not only been creating major buzz in the online world, but it has also generated national and local coverage in Canada and the U.S.
In order to complete the mission and make it to Alaska they had to leave behind their beloved car (Burt Reynolds) in Seattle, and board the 2,124-passenger Carnival Spirit.
Follow these globetrotters as they cruise their way through Alaska, calling in Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan before ending their trip in Vancouver. They are currently taking votes on who should brave the crowd by singing karaoke at the ship’s Club Cool lounge, as well as suggestions on songs. Voting will close at noon, September 10.
