The inaugural John Heald Carnival Awards were announced on Friday on his blog.

John Heald’s Carnival Awards will be hosted on his popular blog and on his Facebook page. Readers will be able to nominate their Carnival favorites in 18 different categories including favorite ship, dessert, crew member, and towel animal.

Nominations are being taken today through December 16 so head over to John’s Blog or Facebook page for more details and nominate your Carnival favorites.    Once the nominations are tabulated, voting will commence on December 20.
