From April 26-30, 2012, the third annual Kid Rock’s Chillin’ the Most Cruise will set sail on Carnival Destiny from Miami to Half Moon Cay and back. The vacation will include a full day at sea and two days of rock on the beach in Half Moon Cay, a private island in the Bahamas, which will be renamed “Rock’s Reef” for the adventure.
Kid Rock will be bringing along his friends and favorite musicians once again – those will be announced later this summer. In 2011, Kid Rock brought along Rev Run, Gretchen Wilson, John Stone, Ty Stone, Howling Diablos, and more. That cruise drew 2,900 people, making Chillin’ the Most a sold out trip twice in a row.
For the third Chillin’ the Most, Kid Rock wanted to be able to top the last two cruises, so Sixthman reviewed over 1,400 surveys from past guests to create an even better experience in 2012. By creating a beach concert, staying in port for two days, and choosing a ship that will create a more intimate environment for Kid Rock fans, new and returning guests alike will be able to walk away saying this was the vacation of a lifetime.
“We can’t wait to see the stage rockin’ on Half Moon Cay for all of Kid Rock’s fans,” said Sixthman CEO Andy Levine. “We were presented with a challenge to make this year even better that 2010 and 2011, and with Kid Rock at the helm we have no doubt it will happen.”
Kid Rock fans can go to kidrockcruise.com for more details. Returning guests will have first chance at booking their cabins once sales begin; new guests can sign up for the mailing list and will be notified of on-sale information as soon as it is available.
