Talk about brand loyalty!

Dennis Coleman of Baltimore last week sailed on his 100th Carnival cruise – a seven-day Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Dream from Port Canaveral, Fla. – becoming only the fourth guest in the company’s 40-year history to achieve this distinction.

To commemorate this significant milestone, the Port Canaveral embarkation staff and the Carnival Dream team truly went all out in making Coleman’s cruise truly memorable.   The festivities started before Coleman even boarded the ship, with the embarkation staff creating a special banner to celebrate his arrival.  The fun continued once on board where Coleman he received the full VIP treatment, including a special dinner with Captain Massimo Marino and his officers, as well as a complimentary meal in The Chef’s Art steakhouse, and numerous other on-board amenities.

Coleman achieved the 100-cruise mark in less than 10 years, first sailing with the line aboard the Carnival Fantasy in 2003 and reaching Platinum status (10 cruises) roughly two years later.  He has sailed on every ship in the Carnival fleet, including 12 times on the Carnival Dream, and has already booked a cruise on the line’s newest ship, Carnival Breeze, which debuts this summer.  It is estimated that Coleman has spent a whopping 723 days at sea with Carnival.
