Carnival Corporation & plc Included on ‘100 Best Corporate Citizens’ List by Corporate Responsibility Magazine

Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), the world’s largest cruise vacation group, has been named one of “100 Best Corporate Citizens” by Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine in the publication’s 13th annual rankings.   Carnival, which ranked #52 this year (up from #69 last year), is the only cruise operator included on the list.

The CR Magazine rankings evaluate companies on seven different categories, including environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy.

Carnival Corporation & plc operates a portfolio of worldwide cruise brands, including Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard, Ibero Cruises, P&O Cruises (UK) and P&O Cruises (Australia), along with the leading tour company in Alaska and the Canadian Yukon.   Carnival Corporation & plc’s fleet includes 100 ships totaling 200,000 lower berths with nine new ships scheduled to be delivered between now and March 2016.  Traded on both the New York and London Stock Exchanges, Carnival Corporation & plc is the only group in the world to be included in both the S&P 500 and the FTSE 100 indices.
