Carnival Glory Passenger is Aquila Tours’ Millionth Guest in Saint John

Posted on: August 28th, 2012 - News Blog

Carnival Glory passenger Marilyn Clark received an unexpected surprise yesterday when she was preparing to board a bus for Aquila Tours’ Saint John Highlights Tour and instead was led to a stretch limousine for a private tour of the destination as the tour operator’s millionth guest.

Aquila Tours, which is celebrating 30 years in business, had been eagerly counting tour participants in anticipation of reaching the 1 million mark. The popular Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, tour company also treated Marilyn and her husband Gordon, who were celebrating their 46th  wedding anniversary on Carnival Glory, to a delicious lobster lunch and a gift basket filled with local must-haves.

Carnival Glory is currently operating a summer schedule of four- to seven-day cruises from New York to the Canadian Maritimes.  The program runs through Oct. 6.
