It’s day five of the Carnival Conquest’s two-week dry dock in Freeport, The Bahamas, and the exciting new spaces are beginning to take shape in anticipation of the ship’s return to service Oct. 28.
The latest round of photos show contractors hard at work prepping the Lido Deck for a new burger spot called Guy’s Burger Joint, developed with Food Network personality Guy Fieri, the BlueIguana Cantina Mexican station and two fun poolside watering holes – the RedFrog Rum Bar and the BlueIguana Tequila Bar, all part of the company’s Fun Ship 2.0 product enhancement initiative. The Carnival Conquest’s makeover also extends to the ship’s other decks as well, with the cocktail-themed Alchemy Bar and the EA SPORTS Bar under construction and ready to serve the line’s thirsty, fun-loving guests.
Following the multi-million-dollar dry dock, Carnival Conquest will return to its homeport of New Orleans to resume its seven-day Caribbean schedule Oct. 28. Stay tuned to the Carnival news blog for additional updates on this exciting refurbishment project.
