Carnival Cruise Lines Vice President of Worldwide Sales Joni Rein has been appointed to the board of directors of Broward Partnership for the Homeless (BPHI), an organization that provides essential support and services to individuals and families to help them get back on their feet and live healthy and independent lives. Rein is an active supporter of several local non-profit organizations in Broward County, as well.
“I look forward to begin working with the incredible members of the BPHI team on helping the thousands in need they work with every year,” said Rein. “Broward County has been my home for over 30 years and I’ve raised my three children here. It’s a great place to live and with BPHI, many others will be able to make it their true home, as well.”
“Broward Partnership for the Homeless started as a public and private partnership and over the last 13 years has grown to become what we consider the pride of Broward County,” said Elliot Borkson, founder and past chairman of BPHI. “Joni has done excellent work on behalf of other Broward non-profits and we’re pleased to have her be part of ours.”
Since its founding in 1999, BPHI has served over 18,500 homeless individuals in Broward County.
