CARNIVAL TRIUMPH’S FOUR- TO SEVEN-DAY CRUISES FROM GALVESTON: FUN, CONVENIENCE AND AFFORDABILITY
The 2,758-passenger Carnival Triumph operates year-round four- and five-day Caribbean cruises from Galveston. On this route, four-day cruises depart Thursdays to Cozumel, while five-day voyages depart Mondays and Saturdays and visit Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.
PUBLIC ROOMS AND AREAS
Carnival Triumph features a variety of dramatic public spaces inspired by famous cities throughout the world. Rooms include the Big Easy piano bar with walls composed of oyster shells from New Orleans’ famed Acme Oyster House; Venezia, a live music venue inspired by the renowned Italian city with colorful arches, ornate columns and other design features; the Washington Library, a snapshot of American history with portraits of presidents and a mural of the capital city; and Club Rio, the ship’s aft lounge, evocative of Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro. In keeping with the international theme, Carnival Triumph also features the Oxford Bar offering the comfortable ambiance of a traditional old English library lined with paintings of British aristocrats; and the tasteful California Wine Bar which features specially commissioned art stemware in its display cases.
Carnival Triumph offers a wide variety of delectable formal and casual choices to suit any taste, including the full-serviceParis and London formal restaurants featuring extensive menus and wine lists, the Carnival Triumph houses the South Beach Club, a casual poolside eatery offering full breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, a New York-style deli, and 24-hour pizza and ice cream/frozen yogurt. Vegetarian and health-conscious menu selections are also featured on all dining room menus. Other dining options include the Vienna Café, offering specialty coffees and sweets, and complimentary 24-hour stateroom service.
‘CAMP CARNIVAL,’ ‘CIRCLE C,’ ‘CLUB O2’ – Building upon Carnival’s distinction as the family cruise leader carrying 725,000 children annually fleetwide, Carnival Triumph offers organized programs for three different age groups – “Camp Carnival” for younger kids, “Circle C” for 12- to 14-year-olds, and “Club O2” for older teens – with supervised activities and expansive, modern facilities for each. Carnival Triumph also houses four swimming pools, including a children’s wading pool and an aft pool offering a 214-foot-long corkscrew water slide. Stroller rental and babysitting services are also available.
CARNIVAL’S SEASIDE THEATRE- Carnival Triumph also features the line’s popular “Carnival Seaside Theatre,” a massive 270-square-foot LED screen on Lido Deck displaying movies, concerts, sporting events, and other programming, including a “Morning Show” hosted by the ship’s cruise director. Utilizing the same technology featured in large stadiums and New York’s Times Square, the state-of-the-art entertainment system includes a 70,000-watt sound system, providing concert quality sound, even outdoors.
‘SPA CARNIVAL’ HEALTH AND FITNESS FACILITY – Fitness has become an important part of everyday life and guests sailing on Carnival Triumph can take advantage of the ship’s 15,000-square-foot “Spa Carnival” facility, which features a wide variety of sophisticated exercise equipment, an expansive gymnasium, and an array of soothing body and facial treatments, including exotic “European-style” therapies.
