Carnival Legend Sails on Line’s First-Ever Norwegian Fjords Cruise

Carnival Legend made “Fun Ship” history when it departed this weekend from Dover, England, on Carnival Cruise Lines’ first-ever Norwegian fjords cruise.

Yesterday, Carnival Legend guests had a chance to explore stunning Alesund, Norway — the first stop on the eight-port, 12-day cruise which began on Saturday.

In addition to the unforgettable opportunity to view the awe-inspiring Norwegian fjords, the cruise includes extended visits to Bergen, Stavanger, and Oslo, Norway; Hamburg, Germany; Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Zeebrugge (Bruges), Brussels, Belgium; and Le Havre (Paris), France.

The Norwegian fjords cruise is part of Carnival Legend’s diverse European schedule which also includes 12-day voyages to the Baltic, Mediterranean and British Isles departing from Venice, Barcelona and Dover.

Following its European season, Carnival Legend will sail on a one-of-a-kind 15-day trans-Atlantic crossing departing September 25 followed by a winter schedule of seven-day Caribbean cruises from Tampa then reposition to Sydney, Australia, for eight- to 12-day voyages Down Under beginning in fall 2014.
