Carnival Miracle arrived in Vancouver, B.C., this morning from the final voyage of its inaugural 2013 season in Alaska which began in May and encompassed 17 seven-day cruises round trip from Seattle and two one-way voyages between Seattle and Vancouver.

During its first-ever season sailing the Last Frontier, Carnival Miracle carried nearly 45,000 guests who had an opportunity to visit historic and charming ports, view awe-inspiring natural wonders and wildlife, and partake in a variety of landside adventures, from helicopter flight-seeing and alpine lake snorkeling to rainforest canopy tours, hiking and canoeing.

Later this afternoon, Carnival Miracle will depart Vancouver on a 15-day Hawaii cruise that will arrive in Long Beach, Calif., Oct 2. 2013.  Following a series of special four- and six-day voyages to Mexico, Carnival Miracle will depart on another 15-day Hawaii cruise, this time round-trip from Long Beach, October 19 to November 3 then launch a winter schedule of six- and seven-day Mexican Riviera voyages from that port.  Carnival Miracle will return to the 49th state in 2014 for another season of seven-day Alaska voyages beginning in May.
