This stunning shot of a young cruiser sliding down Carnival Freedom’s 207-foot-long water slide while the ship departs St. Thomas was taken by professional photographer Andy Newman who is sailing this week to capture images of the many new on-board innovations added during a recent dry dock.
The exciting new spaces include the first-ever Dr. Seuss Bookville family reading venue – part Carnival’s exclusive partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises – as well as Camp Ocean, a marine-themed play area that’s home to more than 200 new ocean-inspired activities. A variety of Fun Ship 2.0 experiences – from Guy’s Burger Joint developed in tandem with Food Network star Guy Fieri and new poolside bars RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Cantina to four spectacular Playlist Productions revues – were added, as well.
