The Carnival LIVE concert series – in which top-name acts perform on board while ships are docked in port – has been named “Best Entertainment Outlet” in Porthole Magazine’s 2015 Editor-in-Chief Awards. The annual awards recognize cruise lines in a broad range of product- and service-related categories.

Launched in 2014, Carnival LIVE brings the best in entertainment to the seas, with a lineup of popular artists representing a variety of music genres – from classic rock and country to R&B and pop.

The inaugural season included 49 concerts by acts such as REO Speedwagon, Lady Antebellum, Jennifer Hudson, Chicago, Jewel and Gavin DeGraw.  The 2015 lineup is just as impressive with shows by Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, Journey, Smokey Robinson and Styx for the second consecutive year.

Performances are held in the ships’ main show lounges, which range in size from 900 to 1,300 in seating capacity, providing an intimate and memorable concert setting.

Tickets range from $35 to $60 for general admission with VIP tickets available for $125 to $250, offering fans seating in the first four rows, an artist meet and greet, a souvenir photo with the artist and a commemorative concert pass.
