A first call function was held on board Carnival Valor to commemorate the ship’s arrival at the Port of Galveston this weekend.  The event was highlighted by a traditional maritime plaque exchange between Carnival Valor Captain Rocco Lubrano and Port of Galveston Director Michael J. Mierzwa celebrating the launch of the ship’s year-round four- and five-day cruises to Mexico.

On its new schedule, Carnival Valor departs the Port of Galveston Thursdays on four-day cruises to Cozumel and on Mondays and Saturdays on five-day voyages to Cozumel and Progreso.
