Carnival Cruise Line Makes the Holidays Brighter for Children and Their Families

Carnival Cruise Line and its employees did their part in making the holidays a little brighter for children and families in their homeport and port of call communities.

Shipboard employees throughout the fleet did their part, collecting and donating thousands of toys to needy children throughout the Caribbean as part of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association’s annual toy drive while employees at Carnival’s Miami headquarters participated in the annual Angel Tree program toy collection drive sponsored by the Salvation Army.   Carnival’s global contact center in Miramar, Fla., also raised more than $85,000 for various organizations, including Kids in Distress (KID), fulfilling holiday wishes for 76 KID families and donating $25,000 in cash to KID to use toward their ongoing programs.
