The groundbreaking SkyRide aerial attraction – a suspended cycling experience featured exclusively aboard Carnival Cruise Line’s new Carnival Vista – has been named “Best Onboard Thrill” in Porthole Cruise Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Awards.
Selected by Porthole Editor-in-Chief Bill Panoff, the awards recognize cruise lines in a wide range of product- and service related categories.
SkyRide is a first-of-its-kind bike-ride-in-the-sky attraction where adventure seekers pedal hanging recumbent-like cycles at speeds of up to 18 miles an hour across an elevated 800-foot-long track, while enjoying panoramic views to the sea 150 feet below. There is no charge for SkyRide.
SkyRide is one of the many exciting innovations featured aboard Carnival Vista, which kicked off a year-round schedule of six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises from Miami in November. SkyRide will also be featured on the new Carnival Horizon which is set to debut in spring 2018.
