Conroy was recognized for her role in Carnival’s employee service group, the “Friends Uniting Neighbors (F.U.N.) Team,” donating her time to a variety of organizations, including the Bay Oaks Home for the Elderly, HandsOn Miami, Broward Partnership for the Homeless,  Camillus House, and the Lotus House, a center for abused and neglected children.  She also participated in a number of fundraising walks, including those benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Make-A-Wish.

The award was presented at the company’s annual Volunteer Reception which pays tribute to those employees who volunteer their time and talent in helping those less fortunate in our community.  Over the past year, more than 300 Carnival employees participated in 56 service activities representing a total of nearly 2,000 volunteer hours.
