Carnival Cruise Line Returns to San Juan with Arrival of Carnival Conquest Earlier Today

  Carnival Cruise Line returned to San Juan when the 110,000-ton Carnival Conquest arrived at the historic Puerto Rican capital earlier today.   This marks the first of dozens of port of call visits to the island destination by Carnival Cruise Line ships in the coming weeks. Carnival will resume sailing from San Juan as an embarkation port when the Carnival Fascination begins year-round seven-day Southern Caribbean schedule Feb. 18.  Carnival Fascination is currently being chartered to FEMA to house relief workers in St. Croix.   As part of its ongoing effort to keep its culinary offerings fresh and exciting for its guests, Carnival Cruise Line is revamping the menus for several of its specialty dining venues and reintroducing Baked Alaska across the fleet. The menus for Carnival’s steakhouses, Cucina del Capitano family-style Italian restaurants, and delis, as well as main dining room breakfast offerings, have undergone a transformation with a variety of tantalizing new items reflecting lighter ingredients, updated preparation techniques and exquisite presentation to keep pace with changing palates.     Carnival Cruise Line and its agency partners MBooth and Mouton Media have received the “Award of Excellence” from the New Orleans chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for a “Lip Sync Battle” event featuring New Orleans Saints players and benefiting local charities.  The event was held aboard Carnival Dream while it docked at the Port of New Orleans.  The annual award recognizes memorable PR activations that generate superior media coverage while raising brand awareness and making an impact on the local community. Carnival Cruise Line Brings Agentpalooza Experience to Travel Weekly CruiseWorld

  Carnival Cruise Line is bringing its festival-inspired Agentpalooza experience to Travel Weekly CruiseWorld from Nov. 15-17 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Agents will enjoy signature features including a rock star photo booth, a temporary tattoo parlor and a cruise giveaway opportunity. The Agentpalooza tent is located near the convention registration area. Agentpalooza first debuted las spring as a bus tour visiting travel agents in six different U.S. cities.   Carnival Cruise Line, a unit of Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) and the world’s most popular cruise line, today announced it has signed an agreement with Shell NA LNG, LLC (Shell) to be its supplier of marine liquefied natural gas (LNG) to power North America’s first fully LNG-powered cruise ships. Under this framework agreement, Shell will supply Carnival Cruise Line with fuel for its two new LNG-powered ships expected to launch in 2020 and 2022 and to be homeported in North America. Carnival Horizon Successfully Completes Sea Trials in the Adriatic Sea

  Carnival Cruise Line’s newest ship, the 133,500-ton Carnival Horizon, successfully completed its final sea trials in the Adriatic Sea earlier this week in anticipation of its inaugural cruise from Barcelona on April 2, 2018. Currently in the final stages of construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, the 3,974-passenger vessel had a full contingent of officers, technicians and engineers on board who thoroughly tested Carnival Horizon’s sophisticated technical, mechanical and navigation systems.
