Carnival’s Adolfo Perez Named Senior Vice President Of Sales & Trade Marketing

  Adolfo Perez, a 36-year veteran of Carnival Cruise Line, has been appointed senior vice president of sales and trade marketing. Perez has been serving as vice president of sales and trade marketing since 2015. Under his leadership, Carnival has rolled out several successful initiatives and programs to reinvigorate and fortify relationships with travel agents and reestablished partnerships with various associations. Carnival Returns to St. Maarten with Call by Carnival Sunshine Earlier Today

  Carnival Cruise Line marked its return to the island of St. Maarten with a day-long call aboard Carnival Sunshine earlier today. The visit is the first of dozens of port calls by Carnival ships to the beautiful Caribbean destination in the coming weeks. More than 3,000 guests on board enjoyed a wide range of shore excursion opportunities as well as the destination’s world-class beaches and shopping and dining experiences in downtown Philipsburg.

Carnival Victory is in the midst of an extensive, multi-million-dollar dry dock that is adding a wide variety of food and beverage innovations, as well as two luxurious Captain’s Suites and new deluxe ocean view staterooms. Shaquille O’Neal Appointed As Carnival Cruise Line’s New ‘CFO’…Chief Fun Officer

  NBA Hall of Famer and TNT commentator Shaquille O’Neal – also known as “Shaq” – announced on last night’s TNT Inside the NBA broadcast that he has been given a new title, joining Carnival Cruise Line as their newly appointed “CFO.” The announcement was made with a tongue-in-cheek video that features Shaq and Carnival President Christine Duffy but omits one minor detail: CFO stands for “Chief Fun Officer,” personifying the cruise line’s newest brand campaign, “Choose Fun,” which launched earlier this week.
