Carnival Cruise Line Entertainment Team Hosts Workshop for Aspiring Dancers at Shoreside Rehearsal Studio

Continuing its support of its local homeport and port of call communities, Carnival Cruise Line’s entertainment team recently hosted a workshop for dozens of aspiring dancers from Ascendance Dance Studio, an academy that trains young dancers in all aspects of the craft and has been featured on a number of news outlets.

Held at Carnival’s shoreside rehearsal studio in Davie, Fla., the half-day workshop provided attendees with a first-hand look at what it takes to succeed in the entertainment world.  The workshop also included a live rehearsal for an upcoming show and culminated with an engaging question and answer session.

The workshop was one of many youth activities held regularly at Carnival Studios, a 40,000-square-foot rehearsal space where the line’s shipboard dancers, singers, musicians and backstage personnel come together to rehearse the line’s award-winning shows and conceptualize new programming for the line’s guests.
