Carnival Cruise Line’s newest ship, Carnival Celebration, has been recognized as a winner in Good Housekeeping’s first-ever Family Travel Awards for 2023 in the Travel Experiences category.

“We’re elated by the great response from our guests since Carnival Celebration’s debut last month, and we’re delighted to have one more reason to celebrate,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Earning this recognition is wonderful validation of our efforts and solidifies our goal to bring guests the most affordable and fun vacation at sea.”

Known as America’s Cruise Line, Carnival operates from 14 U.S. homeports and roughly half of the population is within a five-hour drive of one of its ship – providing a convenient and cost-effective means for guests to get to and from their cruises.

Carnival offers its guests outstanding choices in casual and fine dining, from Guy Fieri’s popular burgers at Guy’s Burger Joint to delicious three-course meals in its main dining rooms, and a wide variety of entertainment and activity options, from the Punchliner Comedy Club and Playlist Productions to onboard attractions like water slides fleetwide and BOLT, the Ultimate Seacoaster, on Carnival Celebration and sister ship Mardi Gras.

In the past month, Carnival has been recognized with several top honors, including “Best Cruise Line for Families” and “Best Domestic Cruise Line” by Travel Weekly. Carnival was also ranked “Best Mainstream Cruise Line” by The Points Guy readers, “Most Trusted Cruise Line” by Reader’s Digest and “Best Value for the Money” in Cruise Critic’s Editors’ Picks Awards.
