Reservations Now Open For New Carnival Panorama’s Year-Round Departures From Long Beach

Carnival Cruise Line today began accepting reservations for the 133,500-ton Carnival Panorama, which kicks off its year-round seven-day Mexican Riviera schedule from Long Beach, Calif., Dec. 14, 2019, becoming the first new Carnival ship homeported on the West Coast in 20 years. Prior to the launch of seven-day service, Carnival Panorama will offer a special one-time three-day cruise to Ensenada from Long Beach Dec. 11-14, 2019. Carnival Cruise Line Significantly Expands Its West Coast Presence And Offerings

Carnival Cruise Line today announced several significant initiatives designed to further bolster its leadership position on the West Coast: the deployment of Carnival Panorama to Long Beach in 2019 – the first new Carnival ship based in Southern California in 20 years; the grand re-opening of its 146,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Long Beach Cruise Terminal, and a multi-million-dollar port development project in Ensenada, Mexico, that will provide guests with one-of-a-kind experiences ashore.   A traditional keel-laying ceremony was held at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, for Carnival Cruise Line’s third 133,500-ton Vista-class ship, Carnival Panorama, which is scheduled to enter service in November 2019. The ceremony, which dates back hundreds of years, signifies the official start of construction of a seagoing vessel. Carnival Panorama will offer many of the popular innovations and features introduced on Carnival Vista which debuted in May 2016.  The second in the series, Carnival Horizon, is scheduled to enter service April 2, 2018. Additional design details, as well as homeport and itinerary information for Carnival Panorama, will be announced at a later date.

Carnival Cruise Line’s New 133,500-ton Vista-Class Ship to be Named Carnival Panorama

  Carnival Panorama has been chosen as the name of Carnival Cruise Line’s new 133,500-ton ship scheduled to debut in fall 2019. Carnival Panorama is the third in the line’s highly successful Vista-class series, which are all named to reflect the connection between the vessels and the sea and highlighted by stunning indoor/outdoor spaces that create a truly unique seagoing vacation experience. Carnival Panorama will join its sister ships – Carnival Vista, which entered service in 2016, and Carnival Horizon, set to debut April 2, 2018.  The three 3,954-passenger Vista-class ships are the largest ever constructed for Carnival Cruise Line.
