Carnival Ecstasy Hosts Day of Fun for More than 60 Kids from Camp Hope in Charleston

Continuing its efforts at being a good community partner, Carnival Ecstasy recently hosted a day of fun for more than 60 kids from Camp Hope while the ship was docked at the Port of Charleston.

Now in its 11th year, Camp Hope is operated by the Charleston Police Department and is designed to provide at-risk youth with fun, educational and engaging activities while fostering a sense of community between children and local law enforcement.

During their time on board, the campers had a chance to cool off at the Carnival Ecstasy’s spectacular WaterWorks aqua park and enjoyed a delicious lunch in the ship’s poolside restaurant.  They also met some of 920 crew members who hail from more than 50 countries from around the world.

Carnival Ecstasy operates year-round four- to six-day sailings from Charleston, visiting beautiful ports throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean and Cuba.
