Carnival earned Best Cruise Line honors for consistently delivering on its brand promise to provide fun, memorable vacations at a great value. As America’s Cruise Line, Carnival carries more than 5.2 million guests annually on 1,500 voyages from 20 U.S. homeports along the East and West Coasts and Gulf of Mexico, providing its guests easy and convenient ways to get to and from their cruise vacations.

For the third year, Carnival’s SkyRide earned the Best Cruise Ship Feature honor. Featured on Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon and the soon-to-debut Carnival Panorama, SkyRide is a pedal-powered open-air attraction where guests cycle their way around an 800-foot track suspended 150 feet above the sea with endless ocean views in all directions.

Carnival Panorama was also named the Most Anticipated New Cruise Ship for 2019. The 133,500-ton ship will debut in Long Beach, Calif., in December 2019 offering week-long cruises to the Mexican Riviera and innovations such as the first-ever Sky Zone trampoline park at sea. Carnival Panorama will be the first new Carnival ship homeported from the West Coast in 20 years.

Bringing back the name of Carnival’s first ship that entered service in 1972, Mardi Gras, setting sail in Port Canaveral, Fla. in 2020, was named the Most Anticipated Future Cruise Ship. The 180,000-ton ship will be the first cruise ship to feature a roller coaster, BOLT: Ultimate Sea Coaster, as well as the first in North America to be powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

Carnival Horizon, the second ship in the line’s highly successful Vista-class, was awarded Best New Cruise Ship of 2018. With unique features like the first Dr. Seuss-themed water park at sea and the line’s first teppanyaki venue, Carnival Horizon reinforces the line’s commitment to providing the highest-quality guest experiences.

Lastly, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse/Brewhouse, which also debuted on Carnival Horizon, earned the Best Cruise Ship Dining Venue award. In addition to tantalizing barbecue favorites created by Food Network star chef and longtime Carnival partner Guy Fieri, the venue boasts a brewery with four varieties of craft beers brewed right on board.
